I went a saw him a couple years ago, he plays Les Pauls now and really rips the leads. It was a fun show but I'm a much bigger fan of his older stuff, when he played strats.

Wow...so he does know to put some space between the notes and phrases!

...or at least he did, at one time.

    I like his early stuff.
    I admire his business acumen.
I drool over his guitarsenal and amp herd.
I know he can play circles—and squares and octagons—around me, without breaking a sweat.

His current lack of dynamics and inability to let a solo “breathe” leaves me lukewarm.

It’d be cool if he would regress back a little.

    Gatton taught him well.

Good stuff. I’ve seen him twice. He can tear it up!

It’s the staggering number of albums he’s put out. I’ve lost track . . .

In 10 years he will own every valuable vintage guitar on the planet, and we can all settle in with our reissues.

Also, I think he gets more airtime on Sirius/XM's Bluesville than BB King. It seems like every 10th song his one of his.
