Here are a few pics of the back of the guitar I am having made by Illinois Luthier, Danny Little. I am super excited about this. Danny had been a lifetime friend of my family and he is building this custom for me. I am hoping to learn some of the trade from this build as I am interested in building myself. This is East Indian Rosewood. The guitar will also have an Adirondack top, ebony bridge and fretboard, and either a curly maple, or Koa binding. It is being built off of plans for a pre-war Martin HD -28 but with some modern features and some of Danny's own cosmetic designs for the bridge and headstock. I will post more as the build progresses.

Below is the endgraph of spalted maple with bloodwood trim. Any input on this would be great. We are kids unsure of this at the moment.

This is off subject of the acoustic build but here is one of Danny's electric guitars. I don't know all the specs but it is pretty cool.

Inlays will be the classic diamond style like an HD28.
