After many years, my Black and Decker electric screwdriver's second set of replacement batteries will no longer recharge. (It uses one battery, but came with a set of two, plus two-place charger.)

I can replace the pair of batteries for $16 to $35 depending on vendor. Or say goodbye to this elderly screwdriver, and replace it with a new one. I'd think that new ones work better than year-2000 screwdrivers. Thanks for an opinion, if you have one.

If you got lithium they should last. I have several makita 18v that just keep on and on.
