I'm going on 70 years old, and I think I want one of these...have no idea who she is...April Levine?

Added: Just looked her up on wiki...I have shoes older than she is, but she has sold over 40 million albums and over 50 million singles...and I see these guitars used for $150 - $200...
I might just get the tee shirt, too.

That sounds like the setup on my old Lead I - it's got a 3-way toggle switch that goes between coils, with the middle position being the Humbucker. The downside is there's not a whole lot of tonal difference between two coils that are right next to each other.

    Zombie, but I'll play...

I actually like her. Now this reversed checkerboard is cool. Not just the black body with a checkered guard.

I do have a cheap trick version of that strap someone is always trying to steal from me.

ADDED...I found one for sale online and bought it, shipping included, for $175...should be here next week...Got stickers all over it from young kid bands I never heard of...but it looks like a fun guitar and I had a Carvin with that odd single HB and multiple switch options about 3o years ago, and it was a really cool usable guitar...
AND...she plays several instruments very well, writes and she really can sing!

Reviving this thread because I just got the checkerboard one for $140 shipped.

I have a hello kitty sticker ready to apply, and other than that I just need to buy a checkerboard guitar strap.

That's the same place the jack is on early Japanese telecaster copies, and it's great for sitting down/recording.
