Im glad I work for a major grocery outlet, on top of my 10% employee discount I get to save points , in july I bought 450.00 cdn and with my points it cost me 35.00 CDN,

Advice; " if you save points at the counter , do so, let them add up it is well worth it "

I predict higher food food prices in the near future.
It's been a bad agrarian year in the U.S.
Little rain in the west, and crops rotting in the fields back east due to too much rain.

But they don't have to spend thousands and or lose everything to get health Care.

    That’s 7 bucks a week. Most people wouldn’t notice.

If you do their math they are claiming the average is over $250 a week. We are a family of 3 but we rarely go over $150 a week.

Gooberments always seem to view the HOLIDAYS as the time for GIVING TAKING...of course, it is a NEW YEAR for spending.

I guess they figured more people will be having the munchies this next year and they will buy food at whatever the price...

Yes. Yes they do. Their health care system is paid for by their tax dollars, which could otherwise go towards groceries. Also, most pay for private insurance on top of their CHA coverage.
