Been here almost 12 years. You’d think I’d have figured it out. Gonna try again.
plus this is the best place I've found for random questions that have nothing to do with telecasters. if I needed to know about trout fishing, car insurance or 40s movies, I'd post in the Bad Dog. members here are a treasury of random obscure information.
Since 03 when someone did a Google search for my name and let me know that I was being 'talked' about here.
Ok, trying again with the quote.
I joined one day later. I have posted just a wee bit more.
My pedigree goes back to the early days when Noam ran the board, then the whole thing went south for while, and then got resurrected as the 'reissue'!! I'm in for the long haul!!
12 years this august. I try to only post if I can bring value to the thread; with only 382 posts - I'm not a value leader. Love you guys.
Yeah, Me too. 15 years. I read several times a week, and do searches for ideas and gear opinions (not logged in). Don't talk much.
Going on 10 years here.
I’ll stick around a bit longer......
Oh, I get it now. I thought maybe we'd be discussing how being on TDPRI had somehow added years of life to its members. Maybe it just seems that way. YMMV?
I can dig it
I just figured out that I could go places other than reddit and the vekn forums on the internet.
Who knew my phone does everything a desktop can do, amazing!
But seriously, after skimming forums for information since 2001 (guitar wise, at least) I eventually realized that this forum had genuinely nicer people than fender, sd, or whatever.
Also, I essentially made an account because I was excited other people on this planet were using and or modding thier Fender 75s. It wasn't very long ago.
Lifespan.... I'll vanish for a few months and return indefinitely. That's my normal cycle on reddit and card came forums, go dark periodically and pm or email people to make sure they're still alive.
Really? I googled my name around then I found out I was a Christian rapper from NY. (Or the "famous" person with my name at least). I also realized a few years later that somehow "ReverendRevolver " despite being my music Myspace and forum name several places was most often viewed in the comments section of a friend of mine page. He does tattoos. Just cant win I guess...
I've been coming and going for 16 years. Lurked before that, too. '03 must have been quite a year for Telecasters going on this thread
I used to log in from all sorts of places, to post, and I don't do that much anymore. Most every time I post now, I'm in Tennessee. Now, I may read from elsewhere but I don't like signing on just anywhere.
Despite so many posts from me, I actually do read way, way more than I post. Hard as that may seem. What's changed I guess, is following the personal messages. Just too much stuff going on.
What's confusing to me is, seems like about 1,500 posts (appx) went missing. Usually ones post count goes up. But it can also go down. Does this make one younger in age? :^)
I joined in 2006 when I got my first tele, a Muddy Waters model. Traded a Wendler Electroacoustic for it.
I was on the Martin forum (UMGF) in the early 2000s before I became electrified, again.
I mostly don't play acoustic due to hearing loss from a brain tumor. I still play my J-50/w soundhole pickup through my 5f11. It is amazingly good sounding.
Now I am back to an early love, short scale, mahogany bodies and P90s. LPDC, Korina PRS se, Epi LP special I.
(see gratuitous pictures...)
I've not been a prolific poster. I can't imagine how some folks amass millions of posts.
I been on here 15 years. 3090 plus posts.
Brad Paisley Joined in 2003 and left after 2 posts
14 years and counting, with a few breaks
I've been around for awhile. Who's counting?!?!
Member since 2003, I read occasionally, rarely post anymore.
