So I have a like-new AV 62 Tele on the way!
Surf Green, dual binding,........can't wait!
Looks great and nice case too
very nice! I'll always love the 62 style. I have a MIJ 62 and love it dearly.
That tele looks awesome.
I love that combination of binding and surfing green on the body.
That looks sweet.... think I "need" a surf green Tele
what a super nice tele! I love that color on a rosewood fretboard!!! congrats man!
Congrats! (drooling as I type)
Enjoy! They are very nice guitars.
Thanks guys,......I've been "Tele-less" for almost three years.
Thats a great color combo.
The 62's are fantastic guitars. I played one just like that a few years back but I couldn't afford it at the time. Someday!! Good luck with it!!
That makes two of us.
Nice score. Every AV 62 Tele I've tried played and sounded great. A slightly more refined and classsy take on the traditional design. Surf green is a bitchin color and fits the era perfectly.
The 62 avri has some of the best sounding pickups Fender ever made in it!!! Great Score and congrats!!
Except for blond and white, I guess Surf Green is my favorite Tele color - it's got to have double white binding though.
Good on you, fenderrookie!
After playing several different Tele models, this one hooked me. Raw, unforgiving, thick tone.
Twang & snap from the vintage frets. Awesome bass response & silky smooth.
The rosewood neck & the vintage pickups are the outstanding. Breaks up nicely with overdrive.
Vintage size frets, fretwork, setup & intonation was perfect, steel threaded saddles.
The vintage pickups in this '62 are not noiseless but have a much richer tone than the SCN noiseless pickups I've tried.
They just seem more alive, have a depth that the noiseless can not replicate.
As stated in an earlier post, it's Surf Green, double bound, I dig it! Neck is a thinner C shape than the 60's classic.
I'm extremely pleased, I've owned a 60's classic and loved it, this AV 62 is exactly what I want.
I will rewire for modern switching, may change the steel saddles for brass.
You'll love it. I have a '02 sunburst AVRI Custom.
Got the MIJ 62 in black, binding is a killer
