I am going out to dinner tonight at a friends house. It will be nice with great company…three couples…and my friend and I share a love of acoustic archtop guitars. I will get to see his recent acquisition, a 1939 Epiphone Deluxe.

But….

It means I will be forced to change from my current wardrobe of a pair of shorts (nothing else)and move from my position in front of a fan. Damn!

geez, Aussies bowled out between lunch and tea, to get humiliated by India..

wait! it's a no ball on the last wicket, we survive another few minutes...

not a great start to a tour..... :(

Indeed.

My old team is on their way to a 3rd win for the season declaring at 3/404 off about 50 overs.

Opener dropped in the first over on 1 finished on 218 no. another 3 runs and he had the club record for highest individual innings score.

I'll grab a couple of beers and watch the 2nd days play next weekend

The only bloke who can hold his head up is Goggles Murphy, the new spin kid, he held it together to get 7 wickets on debut without getting smashed around, not bad..;)
A bit like Crazy's 12 wicket debut, Murphy might have got there had we been able to make them chase a 4th innings score

Metallics are a bugger to match properly.
Then there's the requirement for clear coat finish.

The base coat was good, clear coat, did my absolute head in. I gave it 6-7 coats of clear, so by the time I hit it with 2000-3000 it'll still have cover. I painted it friday week ago, and it's been outside most days just out of the shed, so hopefully couple of breaks time i'll be able to get into wetsanding the clear and *hopefully* goes good afterwards. This was it's factory colour, regret it now , should've gone a basic single apply colour and be done with it.
