Cummings declares with Usi on 195...wanker...you lost me buddy....

the game will most likely peter out in a tame draw anyway......or the rain will return..

Give Usi his moment in the pink...;)
Listening to a Lyon interview it was a team decision, had it not rained this morning they had planned to add another 75 in quick time.

Uzi finished 195 no. It could have easily been 195 & out as Warner was in Melbourne after the resumption.

we'll never know that..he never got the chance to bat on.....;)

the series is already won.... Usi deserved a shot at 200....
Sorry Trev, as someone who has had to make similar declarations over the years the win is what they are playing for not a draw, which is highly likely unless they get the last 4 in quick time tomorrow.

With the forecast weather they should have gone with 3 seamers and had Lyon supported by Labuschange, Smith & Head.

The days of the SCG being a bunsen are long gone for now.

What about the thousands and thousands of punters in pink who sat there in the rain for a few days..paying good money.. waiting for play to start and see Usi get his 200.... and all the folks on TV...

these guys are in the entertainment business as well.... do you think anyone at the ground wanted a declaration before seeing a 200?...

I think not..... ;)

In 1964 UK everything was covered in soot, residue of the coal fires before the clean air act, therefore you wore a black or dark suit. Even brushing against a wall got soot on you. My school blazer was dark Maroon and we then went to dark suits in the upper sixth form. When "hippie" and psychedelic clothing came in it really was a revolution, still got soot on it though.

How's your summer going, lads?... it hasn't kicked in up here yet...

hardly a day over 30 and never 2 in a row.... feels like winter....hasn't been overly wet or cyclonic, either... mainly southerly winds and cloudy days...

weird weather... maybe we'll cop it through easter....;)

Highest we have got to so far is 29, today it is 24, nights are between 10 and 14. Usually we would have daytime temps in the mid 30s so we are well below usual summer temps and I'm quite happy with that.
