We barely got a drop on Sunday. We're about 70km north of Albany, just south west of the Stirling Ranges.

That place is really starting to look nice, Jayson and Mark from Ideal Carpentry have done an awesome job renovating it, from when it had that massive kitchen fire.

We don't head into town much if we don't need to, Treendale/Australind/Eaton has so much more now, Treendale Farmhouse is brilliant if you're ever out that way.

everything I watched on tv or online had a big choreographed ceremony before hand.. I can't remember how many Odes and Last Posts I heard from dawn to dark..... all trying to out Anzac day eachother...

Military parades before sporting events are a bit naff, I reckon...

I’m a bit like you in that I don’t go far from home if I don’t need to, although my daughter lives in Leschenault and one of our band members lives there too and we sometimes practice at his place.

Go Jack,. just watched the replay of the motogp race. I watched it live the other night as well...

Good to see jack Miller get a fine GP win with a Ducati 1, 2 , first time they've won in Jerez for a while.

one win in the wet, now a good win in the dry, he'll be stoked with that. He'll be able to walk a bit taller in the pits now. :)

And poor old Marc Marquez can't take a trick. Crashed at Jerez last year to end his season and crashed there twice this time.:eek::eek:

yeah ch 81 Bold sneaks the replays on in the mornings a few days after the race, if I don't look at the tv guide early enough I miss the replay.

at least they show the race live. I watch the moto 3/2 online before the main race. it's definitely live on the sunday night tv.

Had a weird "before lunchtime" thunder storm yesterday. Most of our thunder storms are afternoon ones. It was weird having one so early. It bucketed down for 1/2 an hour....

Ash Barty is cleaning up. banking lots of big prize money.... Good on her..:)

She seems to have been playing in a time slot where many of the last generation of big names have all faded away...

perfect timing for her career to be able to capitalise on all her hard work as a junior..:)

My first post here guys, my partner and I are in a caravan. Left Grafton in early February, went across to Broken Hill, down to Adelaide (loved the place) and long story short, we are in Wangaratta as I write this.

On our way back home :)

Took an acoustic with me but I began to miss my other guitars, especially my Performer Tele.

Went into Derringers in Adelaide and bought a Squire Affinity to help me deal with me missing my Tele. I had no expectations, but I’m blown away by how good this instrument is for the money. The setup was abominable, had a setup done in Bendigo, it’s now bang on. I grabbed a Blackstar Fly 3 Practise amp but I play it unplugged most of the time.

I also purchased a new Gretsch from Derringers, it’s the same as described here.

Can’t wait to get back home :)
