Ten in the morning and the temp is 7 degrees, don't know what the wind chill is but had to change my cargo pants for something thicker.

It was a bit parky here this morning. I had to work. Bloody customers were coming into the shop and leaving the door open. Must've been born in a cave...

I don't have anything to say, other than to post something to keep my post count rolling.

Well I've been around, but as my wife likes to say, I am the silent type. I run the other way when the doorbell or the phone rings.

I like to keep up with things on this forum, but most stuff has been said before over the years and is repeated in different words. For example, how many time do people need to be told that left handed people can actually play better left handed?

At least this Aussie thread keeps things balanced in a northern hemisphere centric world.

Maybe he just decided to opt out...

They certainly don't make 'em like that anymore. Definitely a man for his time.

    RIP Bob Hawke.

I reckoned he would have pre-polled to have his last say

Regardless of your stripe I believe he bought more together during his tenure than divided

You don't get to win 4 elections and be one of Australia's most loved PM's without doing something right.

Who from either side of the fence can say they are loved by the people even half as much as Bob Hawke? Certainly no-one in the last decade.

You have to give Hawkies right hand man Paul Keating some credit. Love or hate he is one smart dude.

Got the Sparky here... I noticed my solar array wasn't working normally..o_O

he found a switch block that had been water damaged and wasn't switching 1 of the 4 banks ... the conduit at the top hadn't been sealed, that being the most likely entry point... an easy fix....

apart from that everything is working ok... they've been there 8 yrs now...:)

    Hi all,
Just wondering if any other Aussie here has bought a US 110V amp and had them converted to our 240V?
If so how much did it cost?

Ive been eyeing off DR Z amps for a while and cant find anyone in Aus really selling a whole lot of these. So im looking abroad now, but at same time I'm not keen on carrying an additional step-down transformer so whatever I buy will need some work.

If anyone has some experience here will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
