Snark, both the Vox StompLab and my old Boss ME 20 have tuners. Got Guitar Tuna on my phone, good enough for me.

For you guys who use Snark type clip-on tuners - how long do you get out of a battery? I have a couple of them, and don't use them all that much (maybe at the beginning of rehearsal/gig, and once or twice in the middle), but I feel like one of them always has a dead battery. I am pretty careful about turning them back off when I am done. Other electronic gizmos seem to last years before the battery goes, but with Snarks it seems to be a few months.

I've got a Fender FCT12. The day I went out to buy a tuner, not one place had a Snark, as they were either sold out, or they didn't stock them at all.

Turbo Tuner! ST-200 on my pedal board and the newer ST-300 floating around my office. Crazy easy to use, visible in direct sunlight, insanely accurate (awesome for doing intonation).

I've got a clip on PolyTune but I kinda hate it.

On my phone (Android) I use the PitchLab Pro and it's quite surprising how well it works.

Snark, or if I'm playing through one of my Mustang amps I use the built-in tuner. On stage I use the tuner that's built into the Mustang III but I replaced the LED's in the footswitch with bright blue ones so I can see 'em when I'm playing outdoors in the daytime.

I use an E 329.6 tuning fork made in Germany around 40 years ago. Apparently it is for tuning the thin E string but I've been using it to tune the thick E string. Who knew?

I've got a Petersen clip on and a Snark. I've got a TU-3 on my pedal board, too.

As a side note, my son asked me how we used to tune up "back in the day". After a few seconds trying to remember 50 years ago, I realized we just used to put an album on and tune to a song we knew the key of. Once we got a keyboard player, we'd tune to him. My son thinks the band we were in was called the Flintstones!

My wife's freebie Fender clip on. Actually it was mine, but she likes it more than her Korg clip on so we traded.

I need one nearby all of the time because of all of my alternate tunings.:lol:

If there's just one tweak to make, I'll do it by ear. If there's been a wide temp or humidity swing and a couple things need fixing, then phone app if the phone is within reach; or I've got a Peterson headstock strobe unit that works pretty good.

Took me a few different phone app trials - then a friend recommended the one that's on there now. It's pretty accurate; looks like this:

Recently started using Peterson StroboClip HD (replacing a Korg Sledgehammer and some Snarks). Really like the StroboClips. Hopefully they don't disappear like my Snarks did.

I've got a Korg Pitch Black + on my pedalboard.

My Peterson VS-1 over 25 years old. I have thought about getting a used spare because they don't make them any longer.

My trusty Peterson Strobo Flip, have had it plugged in beside the couch for at least 10 years.....can't imagine life without it....what do you use at home?

I have one of these. I also have a little mount so it stays attached to my music stand.

The other ones I use are the Sonic Research Turbo Tuners. I have a couple of the older stand-up ones and one of the pedal board ones. I think I like them a bit better than the Strobo Flip, although I use that the most because it always stays in one place.

And then there's also a clip-on around here someplace that works just fine.
