I have to admit, I bought my BBEtwo timer because I got a deal on one with the original graphic on it a few years back. I recently saw an older version of the Fnord octave fuzz on reverb and it got me thinking,

What pedals have amusing graphics that are good for a slight chuckle the first time you see it?

I stole all the images off reverb, because my twotimer is in my cable bag, but the non-image one isn't as amusing, and I doubt I'd have bought it.

Fnords in the "Illuminati!!!" Trilogy are part of the plot and are deliberately placed garbage information to blind the masses from any truth. So, if I were to pick up one of these gated octave fuzzes, I'd go with the spy vs spy with a cthulu leaning with the explosive earth.

Lastly, I'll probably never buy one of these, because I don't need a stack of Klones, but the han-taun amuses my nerdy side.

I've actually contemplated building fuzz pedals (or re-enclosing and modding existing ones) just to house them in in new shells that are amusing.

What are some other amusing pedal graphics?

I saw this on a guy's pedal board one time at a regional show.

They were a heavy metal band and I thought it fit the bill. If I did not play in church all the time I might have grabbed one.

crazy thing about that one is the pedal isn't too too terrible, just kind of groany...but their lyrics are definitely not cool, i wouldn't touch that band with a ten foot pole if i were a pedal company, i don't know how they got another one. there's at least some irony in the pedal, and i could see some women i know rocking it in that silly way...if it weren't for the band generally crossing the line from satire into total trash elsewhere.

After all these years trying to avoid the pain of stepping on legos, I don't know if my subconscious would let me activate that pedal.....
