Assembled this today - partscaster content

    Bolted this together today from all the random I had laying around. For being a complete mutt: I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Between the steel ferrule plate on the back & the brass saddles it’s got a real jingly sound that I’m gonna have to get used to, but great sustain.

    OMG the knobs don’t match!

    Nice lined truss rod access feature at that price point, good looking guitar.
    Is that some birds eye figure in the maple?

    Haha, yeah I just scrounged knobs from whatever I could find that would fit the pot splines. And yep, just a little tiny bit of birdseye in there; neck finished very well after cutting & polishing the nut, dressing frets, and conditioning board. Plays extremely well - which is what I care about most - this will probably go to my stepson, but I'm gonna play around a bit first.
