Hey everyone. Long time lurker, but decided to create an account to reach out for some assistance with wiring up a 3-pickup tele with a 5-way super switch. Could someone post a wiring diagram for the 5-way super switch that would allow me the following configuration:

    position 1: bridge
    position 2: bridge + middle
    position 3: bridge + neck
    position 4: middle + neck
    position 5: neck

So essentially all I want is the middle position on the 5-way to allow me the bridge and neck combo of a standard 2-pickup tele, rather than just the middle pickup by itself.

    Thanks and best

With a super switch it's not too hard to 'see' the connections in each position if you're using one pole for each of : n, m, b, and tone.

Do you have just one tone in mind?

I'll see if I can post a diagram later, if no one gets to it first.

all parallel, no series coils? if so that should be easy because you're only switching the hot sides

Here's a quick diagram of a super switch wired up per your list, all parallel.

The tone could be wired to be connected in only some positions if you use the fourth pole. Or just wire it to the volume to be always connected.

You can pretty much read off the positions:
    position 1: bridge
    position 2: bridge + middle
    position 3: bridge + neck
    position 4: middle + neck
    position 5: neck

If you can give up neck and middle, you can swap in neck and bridge just by flip flopping the bridge and middle pickups in the pickguard, and save the super switch for something else. I'd rather have middle only than middle and neck (I've got other guitars for that sound). Bridge and neck in a Strat is a very useful tone.

Here's the same thing, albeit wired a bit differently than the Phostenix diagram post #7 (same function either way), with the addition of a toggle or push-pull that alternates Bridge+Neck with Middle alone. The so-called Strat-o-Tele.

I just realized I drew this diagram with a modified TBX tone control (treble and bass cut on one pot). Feel free to wire in the usual tone circuit.
