Take care of the homefront first... guitars can wait. More prayers on the way

Overseas family visit, work related travel and other small issues kept me away from TDPRI till now and I hope things are getting better for you Mike. My best wishes to you and your loved ones along with prayers.

I know things will get better, I'm just eager to see that happen, so a fellow tdprier doesn't have to deal with such a crappy ordeal.

Thanks for all the support guys! My daughter came through surgery well and is recovering nicely. I'll be getting back to this build as soon as I can.
    Much appreciated!

    Back to work!
Took the tape off the binding, pulled out my scraper, and got down to it.

Took about two and a half hours, so this is all I got done today.

Nearly all of it looks good. Got a bit of a gap here:

Need to pick up some acetone so I can fill that.
Thanks for looking, and hanging with me. Work will continue on this one at whatever pace I can keep. Good to be back in front of the Workmate.

    Dab on some goo...

    ...sand it back...

Not bad for the first time doing it. A bit more sanding and some lacquer and that'll disappear.

    Drill for the jack.

Routed a bit deeper for the feet on the humbuckers.

    Ugly, but...

...the pickups will cover it. Don't like it, but in the end, no one will see it on the completed guitar. I'll have to live with it.

I have a P bass body I'm building for a friend that needs final sanding, then I'll fill both of them at the same time.
