Wow man, that's like a left handed double negative compliment. Genius. And I totally agree with you although I DO not hate almost the entire catalog.

Yeah fair warning was their least successful Roth-era album, but a big fan favorite. I agree that Eddie should stick mainly to guitar, but he is an extremely accomplished keyboardist, and you can't discount the keys on "and the cradle will rock" and "Sunday afternoon in the park"

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana and for me I'd also have to add In Utereo was their best album.

Another vote for "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straights. Although, to be fair, it is only my second least favorite DS song. How in the h*** did Les Boys get on an album (last cut on Making Movies)?

Epic by Faith No More. OK, it's not my least favourite, but definitely not my favourite.

'Money for Nothing' by Dire Straits for me too, as well as 'Twisting by the Pool' and 'Walk of Life and, controversially, 'Paranoid' by Black Sabbath, all awful imo

Beatles "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".

There are others but I can't think of them.

I enjoy the Chris de Burgh catalog, but "Lady In Red" was a song I could live without.

Not going to argue with you there. We did do There There, I Will and Go To Sleep, but they just didn't go down so well. I would also love to do Nude, Optimistic, True Love Waits and Burn The Witch (got my Mel9 for the strings!) to name only the ones I've worked out. But I am at the mercy of the band and the audience.

I never liked "Karma Police" from OK Computer, and since it was the album's best-charting single (in the US at least) it took me years to even bother listening to the rest of the record. And I love every other damn song on the record, so thanks a lot, Radiohead.

The late Waylon Jennings had a diverse and remarkable number of recordings to his credit.
One of his most popular recordings was "Luckenbach, Texas', which I really didn't care for.
He continued to make some great recordings after this as well, I just never cared much for Luckenbach
    (the song or the town).

Agree totally. I read his Biography, and I'm pretty sure he himself hated this song

In Britain, Paranoid Android charted better. So maybe it's not so much 'thanks Radiohead' as 'thanks, US record-buyers'.

One running theme of this thread is songs that have been ruined through excessive popularity. A bit of a paradox, I suppose.

Another very big Blue Oyster Cult fan here - but I cannot stand their song "Godzilla." Sounds like a comic book movie theme song. I don't mind the opening riff, but that chorus just grinds in my ears. I can't like it... turn it off.

That one AND Bohemian Rhapsody both give me the wiggums.
