had this idea floating around for a while...had a spare moment so dreamt up this concept for a pickup ring, its a little out there but i think it looks better than anything generic and plastic thats available !

I made this from aluminium, engraved then added the black enamel for detail.

I know it doesnt match my copper P90 bridge but its going to be fitted to a new build, going to fab up a matching style control plate and bridge when i get a little more time.....thi was just for fitment position and to get a feel of generally how it might sit.....still thinking on it.....

I like it, but as someone else mentioned it does seem just a tad busy. For my tastes, at least.

Here's a totally useless doodad I added behind the bridge plate on one of mine. It's a stamped tin thing I found in a box of old glass bottles. It's just stuck on with adhesive tape.

Give 'em the beans!
I like it but that sharp point makes me nervous. Is it flush? Looks slightly raised.

It is a bit busy but I think that's partly because of the simplicity of the rest of the guitar. I think it will look great when it's part of a group of similar bits.

I'm also curious about the technique used to cut the pick up hole, and the engraved lines.

That looks great! Did you engrave it by hand?
I think a Tele bridge with that design would like awesome on an Esquire!
