    Hi,
Anyone have experience of this early 80's, made in Japan ,Aria?
I have been offered one but it has slight problem with bridge and I can't get to play it before buying but the price is tempting me (and I have played modern Aria and found them very good)
Thanks in advance for your thoughts
    Jem

I used to have an Aria Pro II copy of a Gibson Dove that was sublime. Most of the lawsuit era made in Japan guitars from the 70s-80's were pretty well built and have become somewhat collectible. That being said, you don't say what the bridge problem is. Any guitar that has cracks or requires parts replacement will require luthiery work, which you should factor into your overall price.
