Just wondering guys, do you ?

I have one myself in butterscotch blonde and maple neck . However might consider selling some old gear and get another player tele. I really dig polar white maple neck and tidepool maple neck. These satin pillow feeling necks feeling is just lovely. Those are eye candy colours and new twangier sound of Alnico V pickups. Players are versarile tool of music language.

Im addicted to these. If yes tell which one you will get , if hesitate tell the reason.

I voted "No" - not because I don't like them but simply because I have a Tele and I'm not sure if I'll want another one.

If I do go for another Tele, I'm more likely to buy something cheaper and second-hand, with a view to putting the pickups in that I want and upgrading any other bits that I think need it.

Alternatively, I've seen a couple of T-types that have P-90s fitted and appeal to me more than the more standard / traditional set up.

Don't know yet, I haven't played one-but if the quality of my Player Stratocaster is indicative of the quality I can expect, then the answer has to be 'hell yes'.

With the old MIM Standard I would have gone for a Squier VM or CV instead. The Standard seemed to be an inexpensive guitar with an expensive brand name to me (YMMV).

With the Player series, the choice is tougher. It looks like Fender has gotten serious about the mid-priced market. The improvements make it clearly above the Squier lines where that seemed arguable before.

One other option.. "What is it?"

I have given up trying to keep up w/ all the various models and variations of what was once a simple line of guitars, all the major makes are equally guilty. 99% of the time I have no idea what exactly I am buying, beyond the basic design.

Seems like a good bit of wasted money with all the various ads, promotions etc. but as I mostly buy used, I suppose it's a wash.

Voted NO, as I generally don't but new guitars! I also prefer a three saddle bridge on a Tele. I think it's silly that Fender chose to offer certain colors with no choice of fretboard material! On the other side of the coin, the Stratocaster version in this series is right on the mark , at a good price, although they exhibit the same color/fretboard anomaly!

Not in the market for one, but would be proud to own one -- any of the models. Prefer it not be Butter Cream, and be TidePool or Sage Green. The Sonic Red seems pretty cool too.

These players seem to resemble the discontinued american standard series (one of my favourite teles is an american standard my wife gave me for christmas in 2016) – so yeah, if I needed one more tele I'd try these first.

If I'm in the market for a Tele and don't wanna assemble my own from parts, sure. I saw Phillip McKnight's video on the Player Stratocaster, and it seemed like everything that wasn't upgraded stayed the same quality, which is to say still great.

I bet a Player Tele with a new set of pickups specific to my purposes would absolutely rip, not to mention be nice out of the box after a setup.

I voted hesitate because I have a Baja in blonde. If I got a Player the Baja would have to go. I am not crazy about the bridge pup and never use the S1 on the Baja. The Baja is otherwise perfect and paid for. I will try out a Player at the local GC first chance I get. My conundrum is Baja or Player, both would be pointless I think.
