Don't see these guys around enough.

Great band.

Saw them once in PDX

I was very impressed with a great live show including a flaming space helmet.

Not sure still if they are Man or Asto-Man but the lead singer did finish the show with a quick thank you then down off the stage into the crowd.

I have seen a lot of shows and rare is it a performer that is willing and able to leave through the crowd.

It left an indelible blot of awe on my brain.

Sounds very like “Nero and the Gladiators” a band from the early 60’s!

Rob DelBueno (aka Coco the Electronic Monkey Wizard), at the left, has been playing bass with Atlanta’s Subsonics for years. They are a great band.

I saw them twice in the Netherlands in '94.
The second time my mate and I improvised some space suits and ray guns and painted ourselves green 👽🛸 'Coco' spotted us in the crowd and loved it so we were dragged up on stage for a couple of numbers. That was at the old Doornrosje in Nijmegan 🥀 Their show was wild.

The closest thing today I can think of would be perhaps Messer Chups.
Is Goth-Surf a recognised thing? 🌊🏄‍♀️🧟‍♀️

I got a used CD in a used CD store. It was pure gold. I do not know the album title because whoever sold the CD to the store put it in the wrong jewel case. I love this band!
