One of our dogs has a grooming appointment during the day on 1/1 so I’ll be out and about a bit that day. May pop into GC to kill some time.

As far as the night before, no plans. Hopefully asleep before 10:00 like an old person. My partying days are pretty much over, and my kid, dogs, and cat are early risers.

A friend called last night to tell me that he got a call from his doctor, who told him that...thing going around is so contagious he recommended just passing on leaving the house for a week or so.

We had planned on being in another country for NYE, but that didn't happen because of that...thing going around.

We ran to the liquor store yesterday and are getting food delivered today. We're staying home.

I never to out for NYE anymore. I just celebrate early with my family when the NY ball drops as I'm on west coast.

With the current surge, even more reason to hunker down at home.
