    I was a Cold War sensor operator aboard Navy P-3C aircraft, 1982-1986. I literally chased Ivan from the North Sea to the Caribbean and back. Twice.

    2nd Ranger Bn and 1/509th Abn.

    My greatest memories are being cold, wet, exhausted and hungry enough to eat the a** out of a dead cow. In this picture I was experiencing ALL of those things.

    Good times:lol::lol::lol:

    USMC ('86 - 2003)...most of it as an NBC Chief (aka Gas Passer). Wish I could go back and do it all over.

    Maintained computer systems for command and control of Bombers and ICBMs. Great job, even better life and learning experience. Thank you, USAF!

    I spent 4 in the Corps and 19 in the Army. Loved every minute of it. Do I miss it? No. I passed the torch to my son and he's currently 8 years Army.

    Here's a photo from my Benning days.[IMG]
