My Mom used to say down the stairs, either "I like that one" or "can you play a whole song?" .... usually the latter.

If you're lucky. I get trophies for going away.

You hear a lot of mediocrity on the radio these days, particularly listening to guitar players. I consider myself better than that, but that says more about today's talent than mine.

Yes, I’m suitable to purpose. So, I guess I am better than that 90%. Every time I say something self-deprecating about my guitar playing around musicians I know, they all are like “Stop that! You’re fine!”. So, I guess I’m ok (or I’m really handsome!)

I love playing guitar but found that when I sit behind a drum kit, I can play at a whole different level.

I don't have any problems playing, with my old guitar friends, they call me up a whole lot more, to play drums, in a band

I do sit in and play guitar from time to time.

    YMMV

Its all about the journey, not where you want to be. Enjoy every minute!

Got my first guitar when I was 15. I never learned to play a lick on it. It terrified me. Didn't learn to play til my late 20's. Im a frog's butt hair above mediocre but I think I respect and appreciate what I can do much more now than I would have had I stuck with it the first time around.
