I'm not gonna start in with his best film , his best performance , best only really indicates that I like it
his best porayal of a person sol was lee harvey oswald .BRRRRRGGGGG! WRONG , see what I mean, bestest schmestus, put some lox and cream cheese and it doesn't make the best sammich in the world , what about the corn beef from Bronstein's in Long Island... see go figure.
he's been in so many films "TRUE ROMANCE" The trans-racial pimp Drexl Spivey is not the best, but it is very powerful , he also played Dracula, Jack Grimaldi in Romeo is Bleeding, agent Stansfield, Sid in Sid and Nancy, Zorg in the Fifth Element.
on and on it goes George Smiley was very brave, considering how well done the role had been done before.

So what do you like? What character brings a smile to your face?

I’ve liked him in the movies that I’ve seen him in. He doesn’t turn up that often in my viewing fare. I thought he was good as Beethoven.

Great actor. He seems unafraid to take on any character and make it his own.

Master actor, he can play anyone/anything.

    Also he hates acting.
It just so happens he's very very good at it

I like that he hates the craft , it's just what he's best at, that pays the best out of his skillset.
    I totally respect that.

I mean, at the end of the day, it's all make believe, and kind of silly, and not really very fitting a pursuit for a grown man

(I think Mickey Rourke views acting similarly, but don't quote me on that)

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. Movie based on the Tom Stopperd play. Subtle and brilliantly hilarious. Im a geek.

"Romeo is Bleeding" is one of my favorite movies. Not only is it excellent on the surface, but when you analyze the plot you come to realize that things might not be what you thought.

He's a wonderful actor and even in weakly-written films, his presence redeems the shoddy script.

He's also a very funny guy; he could've been a great comic actor.

He was pretty convincingly evil in "Air Force One".

I'm still processing MANK. I am a major Orson Welles freak. Very complicated feelings. Must watch again. G-d, need to discuss. Please help.

He looked and sounded more like Winston Churchill than Winston Churchill did.
