I just got a 2021 Classic Vibe 60s Telecaster Custom 3TSB, made in Indonesia, Nato body, Indian Laurel fretboard. The guitar is near flawless, very satisfied given the price.

Are the pickups in this guitar using Alnico 5 magnets? Fender only describes them as "Fender designed Alnico Single-Coil".

FYI my bridge pickup measures 7.23Kohm and the neck pickup measures 7.40Kohm.

I'm not saying yes, but I'm pretty sure they are.

Pretty sure all the CV Teles now have the same A5 pups. someone somewhere suggested they are re-badged Rockwells or are at least made by same factory a la Toneriders in the old CV's made in China.

If yours is an earlier CVC from China, chances are yours may be Tonerider pickups. I think they are alnico 5s too.

All the new Fender designed CV pickups, for both Strats and Teles, are specified as alnico, but they don't say what. However, they sound like A5s to me, but I've been fooled before. And, the new Strats are all the same, while the previous ones were the Tonerider designed A3s on the 50s ones, and Tonerider designed A5s on the 60s ones. And, the previous Teles had the same Toberider A5s on the BSB and CVC ones, and the Tonerider A3s on the White Blonde ones, but now they're all the same too.

Could well be, although Fender just say they are Fender designed pickups on these, but seriously I would say 99.99% that they are.
