Welcome, my Icelandic friend. May I submit that you can be a bass player and a telecaster player at the same time. I present exhibit ‘A’. The Fender Telecaster Bass. 06D459E3-ED7A-477D-891F-4331F27EEB0D.jpeg AEDA02A0-68F4-4CE6-A002-33454E7BB289.jpeg

Welcome from Texas.....bass players are indeed welcome here, but be prepared for a little "ribbing" when we start criticizing bassists for what we see as some of their failures. It's nothing personal, especially if it doesn't apply to you. Good bass players can be the heart and soul of a band....essential to making a "good" band "great". Velkominn! ;)
