I’ve been dribbling over these for months and today I went in and put my deposit down. Collect on 16th.

I’ve had a few Teles over the years, and this one is The One. That colour, and that double binding...

Looking forward to sharing a few pics soon

When I first saw the title I read too fast and saw A.O unbound.
I started having avri 64’ flashbacks and thought fender made a good decision, then my vision corrected itself.

Anyway I have an A.O sunburst myself great guitars! Enjoy yours !

Picked it up today. I think it’s absolutely beautiful, and after a few tweaks, is playing in that inimitable Tele way. Through my new Catalinbread SFT it sounds pretty much exactly like I hoped it would, which is to say Ya-Yas. I haven’t had a Telecaster for a few years and am delighted with it.

Slightly disappointed that the headstock logo is a simple decal that looks like it would come off without much persuasion, but apart from that it feels and looks like a period guitar. Not that I have extensive experience of such things, but it does have a NOS/barn find vibe going on. Happy days. Hope you like the pics.

    HNGD!

Don’t mind the decal: that’s the way they’ve been done for decades … and you asked for it by buying an “Original” ;)

Enjoy it: it’s a super tele.

Nice looking guitar...slab board and all. Did they stay original to the circuit?

    Great score, enjoy!
I played an AO ‘60s Tele before I bought my Jazzmaster... I think it is a fantastic guitar. LPB is such a good finish too... though I also love the Fiesta Red when seen in the flesh...
