Anyone used these before?

    Whoa. That's an ambitious project. I've had one of those 212R amps. I sold it pretty fast. There's a goofy design in the overload sensing circuit which I couldn't fix, so I disabled it. It would indeed make a good parts source for using the cabinet and chassis, though. I would strip everything else out of it and build from scratch. Is the chassis heavy enough to support the transformers? Does the front panel line up with any of the repro BF fender panels?

    The chassis is not too bad, 1.7mm thick (67 thou). I had to cut it though and do a 25˚ bend. One more cut to do, I've got some sturdy 3/4" steel angle waiting to join the 2 parts at the back.

    The current front panel holes don't match up with a BF panel. I'm thinking of printing a custom vinyl sticker to make my own panel.
