if it bothers you, inquire and get it fixed so that it doesn't bother you. We all respond differently to stuff, don't be ashamed to have it bother you and don't worry if your 'bother' is not someone elses.

I've had things like that bother me and when they do, I just get it resolved.

I bought a PRS SE CUSTOM 22. The truss rod cover on PRS guitars have their class/model printed on it like a Les Paul (Studio, Standard, Modern, etc.). The CUSTOM that I bought has a cover that is printed STANDARD (which is another type of guitar that they make). My questions are, 1) would that bother you?, 2) Does it really matter?, 3) would you change it to what is the proper labeling?, and/or 4) would you ask the seller to provide you with the proper cover or just acquire one yourself?

I would ask the seller if they can find the correct cover for you while they still remember who you are, and that you bought a guitar from them.

Enjoy your new axe in good health

I always put a blank one on. I like how Gibson Les Paul Standards now have a blank one in your case candy in case you want to change ir.

It would probably bug me enough to at least research what the correct cover would cost. Bugging me enough to replace it would depend in the price.
