    A big milestone today and an unexpected one. 79.9 kg! First time I've seen a leading 7 for at least twenty years, probably more. So that's a total of 13.6 kg lost since January, and 1.1 kg just this last week. I've had the flu all week, and have been basically lying around doing nothing, so go figure!

    I really need to loose some weight too. I tried and tried but I get so darn hungry when I try to cut down. Exercise is another area I need to sharpen up on....quite lazy really.Only exercise I get is a round of golf now and again..not nearly enough. Really gets to me. I need to lose about 2 stones ( 28 pounds) I'm in.

    OK - 227 lbs. this morning. Down a tiny bit - last week was stressful, closing out some very big issues, 12-18 hour days, irregular meals, no gym time and not so healthy food around the office.

    Last weekend gave my XXXL, XXL and XL sized shirts to charity. I'm now a proud L.

    255 lbs on the dot this morning. I've been between 253 and 255 this week, which is down from last week and an encouraging sign that I may be about to break past that 255 barrier!

    Last week was beyond stressful and I tend to eat my stress away. Being aware of that tendency was a big help in avoiding unnecessary snacking and calling myself out on mindless eating.

    lost - 61.75 lbs

    Thanks to the Labor Day festivities, I put on 1.25 lbs. ...sigh... Back to work.

    Actually it was as high as 4 lbs, before I worked it all off this week.

    My first post here in the club. I've been working out off and on since March, doing some cross training, jogging, biking, weights, sit ups, chin ups, push ups, row boat machine, treadmill, few other exercises.

    I was around 200 lbs, now I'm down to 192 this morning. My goal is 175 lbs, not bad for a 6' tall person. And as mentioned in a previous thread, I'm training to run my first 10K run next year.

    I've found one of the best ways to lose weight is just cut out breads, pasta, potatos and rice (and of course sugary sweet foods). Its the carbs that kill your diet, not the fats.

    G'day bigBend welcome to the club and good luck. Today's weight 80.6 kg which is up 0.7 from the lows of illness and inactivity last week. Have been doing a fair bit of running and despite the increase, I feel less flab around the middle.

    I'm up 1.5 lbs from last week, and I'm sure it's from eating out two times for my sons birthday, and then a huge family party.... I'm back on the horse though....

    251.6 lbs this week. I'm finally feeling like I'm in sight of my goal of 245 now. That also means 38 lbs total lost since January!

    Down another 1 lb to 205.
    Surprising 'cos I was in Italy and France on business all last week, and living on hotel and resturaunt meals isn't usually great for loosing weight - particularly when it's two of the best food countries in the world.

    I had a busy few couple of weeks, not much time to excercize but i still lost a bit of weight.
