Ok good start at least. 216 lbs (15st 6) down to 212.
But week 1 always seems to be a big number.
Next couple of weeks'll be harder though. Holiday then Italy and France for work....

Every once in a while I get to a weight where I just bounce around 2 lbs or so for a while before breaking through. I seem to have hit that with 255-257 lbs. looking for a dam breaker this week!

    3/1/11: 235.0 lbs
    1/5/12: 190.0 lbs
    Last week: 172.5 lbs
    Today: 173.5 lbs

    lost - 61.5 lbs

Hovering just under my original 175 target. I guess it is going to take getting serious again, to drop under 170.

    I'm in.
    8/23/12: 223

I'm 48. In my early 40s I lost 40 lbs and got down to about 175. In my late 40s I'm finding it harder to shed lbs. I'd like to lose at least 25 lbs. and get down to one ninety something.

I've yo yo'd most of my life but Weight Watchers has been a great help. I'm using their online plan now.

My weakness is afterwork beers and late night snacking. I'm actually switching to Miller 64 (gasp!) and a lighter snack - fruit and vegetables.

Back from WY...gained weight...up to 227. Good food - three squares per day - and wine. Back on the plan...still in smaller jeans though.

Welcome to the new club members. It was getting quiet in here for a while! Today's weight 81.0 kg down 0.5 from last week, which is pretty good. It always makes me think I mst be in for an increase next week when I get a big loss. Ah well. I went shopping for jeans again yesterday. The 32" jeans I got only a month or so ago, have stretched and I find I'm hitching them up all the time. So I got a pair of stretch denim 32's and a pair of 30 inch waist jeans. They were on sale, so I thought I'd be optimistic. They're too tight at present, but I'm aiming for 78 kg, so I should be able to get into them before Christmas. Man, it's so good to be able to walk past the racks of "Big Guys" clothes they've got out for Fathers day.

Some great results here! I sadly have put weight on since this started - I am exercising more (tennis, hill walking and cycling) so feel much fitter but I think at my age a serious change in diet is needed to get rid of this blubber round my belly.

I just love bread, spuds, cheese and cake so much it's really hard to cut down on them much. Anyone managed to lose this middle aged spread with a not too drastic diet change to go with increased exercise? I tried reducing portion sizes but taht didn't seem to do much.

I am still at 212, was down to 202, but life gets busy, excuses, excuses. Still going to post, even if I am not being successful, because, that's life sometimes
