Anyone up for a 'Thursday morning weight loss club'?

    Weighed in at 260 on the dot this morning. That's 29 lbs down from my start weight at 289 on Jan 1.

    I'm looking forward to the 250's and then who knows? My goal was 250 which I carry pretty well at 6'4"

    I had stalled but I lost the last 13 lbs on a plan called Naturally Slim. It's not a diet, but it does help you consider how, when, and why you eat in a way that has lead to some revelations for me.

    Joe-Bob, 50 pounds is great, no matter what the number!
    I am up a few to 208, a high id 225, a low of 202.
    Maybe exercise?

    I started may 20th this year down from 168lb to 152 so far

    140 is my target which is do-able

    I know this cos I've done it so many times , tho gets harder as I get older (56 !)

    How to stay thin is the real question for me.

    I'm cycling 20-30 miles a day and eating around 1200 calories which works but can't
    keep it up forever due to an inbuilt lack of willpower

    Down to 190 lbs and have maintained that weight for about 2 months.

    221 this AM...losing again. Better news is that I saw my physician this week and am off of all meds - cholesterol and blood pressure pills. A1C, cholesterol, etc. all down and within normal ranges.

    Doc also told me that two and a half years ago I weighed in at 316.....

    231 lbs today.
    Finally the numbers are going down- I guess I've added all the muscle I can at this point and the fat loss is continuing.
    Hooray.

    I'm doing loads at the moment- 6x 45 min high intensity spin classes a week plus 3 weights sessions AND a 90 min circuit training class on Saturday morning.
    Diet is nailed too- only clean food for all but one meal a week, no complex carbs after 6pm and 200g of cottage cheese just before bed.

    Been a while since I checked in here. A month and a half ago I was down to about 215 but I'm ashamed to say I was 220 when I weighed in this morning.

    What can I say... it's summer... I've been enjoying a few beers... and BBQ'd burgers.

    Started at 230... got down to 215... now at 220. Still ahead of the game but I've got to get back on track.

    I have been away from the forum for quite some time now. I think what you guys are doing is a good thing. I need to lose quite a few pounds. I recently just rededicated my self to the guitar and this will fit in with my new thought process. Count me in. will post weight next Thursday.

    No new loss, but keeping under the 200 mark, which is a 32 pound loss. I think a bit of maintainence for a few weeks, until the next push to get to 190-ish.

    I'm 82.2 kg this morning, down from 82.8 last week. Closing in on the original target of 82 kg!

    Sorry for being late, but I was on the road for work last week... Still at 187, which is a good thing. It's really hard to watch what you eat when you are only in control of one meal a day...

    I know I only updated two days ago but excessive amounts of cardio and strict diet and I am down 2 more lbs.

    I am pretty happy with 5lbs in 3 weeks. I ve been trying to do about an hour of cardio a day.
