I just heard of these today and have a chance to go check one out. They seem pretty new and limited, but thought I'd ask the gurus here. There are many things I don't prefer here, 7.25" radius, vintage frets and truss rod adjustment at the heel, but man, I'm still intrigued just from the looks of it. Although I'm not sure I'd be happy with a basswood body mid-level Strat. LOL...I hate everything about this guitar but the looks and the pickups! Woe is me!

I love paisley. But not black. And I can’t deal with the tight radius, small frets, and heel adjust rod. So I’m firmly out. On the flip side, basswood doesn’t bother me a bit.

HAHA!! Agreed on everything about the neck. And I'm sure basswood is fine. Its totally a head game for me, admittedly.

The more I thought about it after this post, I was thinking "Why did I even post this? No way would I end up going with this!!" But I get excited first thing in the morning with my cup of coffee. I do think it's beautiful looking though.

Agreed...I'd still give it a run. Couldn't hurt for sure.

Black is about the only Paisley I like! The rest just say "Hello Kitty" to my eyes.

Good job Andy! it's a beauty!

I bought one last week and I really enjoy it! the photos really don't do justice to the actual paint job/pattern - the background is really a hammered silver-colored material with the paisley over top... stunning! Great workmanship also. The rosewood fretboard is also great. Pickups are really nice, but different from the Texas Specials which some of my other guitars have … it is more treble-y... that's fine!

I was a little concerned about the neck also - i'm afraid of tiny frets and the 7.25" radius - but when I played it, I really didn't notice - it felt great! I bought mine from Wildwood, and they do a set up, so it played wonderfully!

When I was looking at this, I didn't know what to make of the black paisley... Herman Munster's guitar? Something from Transylvania by way of Japan? But it really is just a black and silver guitar.. with a little extra bling over plain black... Which I like....

Cowabunga! Have fun with the new axe!

Oh nice!!! Wildwood is great. Not that I've ever shopped there, but I love their videos :) I just got back with mine, and you're right, its a stunner. Ill have to do a little setup on mine. Bridge is floating, I like it flat on the body, and Ill drop the action a bit, but I'll deal with it. Got it "used" for 799. Ill post the NGD with details in a bit! Congrats on yours!!!
