I'm looking to try something different in a new build I'm doing at the moment. I already have a CS 51 Nocaster in the neck of another tele which I really like. I find the Nocaster bright but not stratty bright, airy and articulate. Really lovely pickup. I want something similar that has that open, chimey, acoustic quality to it. Never been that keen on A5's or anything overwound, but heard great things about the Budz Purebred neck, not your typical A5 tone apparently. I play mostly clean. The guitar has a one piece 1.7kg ash body with a chunky V neck, rosewood board form Musikraft. Thanks in advance for any thoughts and opinions.
