Yes! For anyone wanting Don Mare's S.T Bakersfields, O.C. Duff's Buckaroo is pretty close. My old Q-Pickups are pretty good. Comparing them, the Don is slightly warmer. But very similar in sound.

For those tracking, my May 20 order arrived yesterday (my mail comes late).
Thanks! My hope is renewed! I didn’t feel this anxious waiting on my KOT and that was 4 years, 2 months!
May 20, 2022?
People have a life outside of their jobs. Sorry it did not work out for you.
Is it now possible to order a Budz Dano set?I'm getting the Hot Bakelite set. I am curious about the A3 magnet Bakelite bridge pickup. I think the wait time for the most part is he only makes so many pickups a day/week.
I can wait,Budz has been so good to me I use some of his pickups. His Dano set is really good. Great guy too. I know I will have another Tele or two so both sets will be used.
Btw how is that Road Worn treating you?

I think he is only winding for Danocaster now. I had a set I sold with a tele a few years ago and regret that one leaving the roost quite often.Nope, retired.
Don't post pictures on your day off?I'm aware of that. I'm a social worker. My non-work life is important to me, and it's up to all of us to maintain a reasonable work-life balance. If I made very specific promises to someone while taking their money however, I would probably hold off on posting beach pix until I caught up.
I’d love to hear the specs on that set! (And how you ordered them). I’ve got a Clarence tribute that could use a Mare touch I think he calls the neck pup a Stelly, I guess with a little Strat vibe, as Clarence used a custom wound Strat in the neck. But it's been twenty years since I got them so I have no idea what the specs are or if he would even wind them again. If you can possibly talk to him he might oblige, or if not him maybe another pup builder
@Wyatt did you install them yet?!
No, but I started a different project to keep my mind off of them!I have no current builds for them, so they'll sit on the shelf for a while. My Spring/Summer project is going through my '50s-'70s guitars and restoring them. Hopefully, I'll start something new this Fall.
Any word on yours?
Batch #190 here; I also got an email stating mine should be here by Friday. The drag is, with relatives coming, I won’t be able to install until 4/10 or so!
I got the much anticipated email from Don yesterday, my pickups will be here 4/10.
