I recieved my tracking number yesterday for mine. I payed a little extra and got a pinup girl covered one. He has a video where he plays it alongside an original maxon 808. I've always loved those pedals and the Luther sounds great in comparison.

I own a Luther and play it a lot! It's an 808 circuit, so it will sound like those pedals, but he modifies it to have better note clarity and to be louder. He even makes a version with a "loud" mod that makes it even louder. Turn the drive down and its a good booster too. It moved 2 dirt boxes off my board, and now its just the Luther, Little Big Muff, and Metal Zone for dirt. Does everything really well. Plus, its boutique quality that is very affordable, and the guy has cool videos.

It sounds like a chunkier TS-808 and the gain and tone pots have a wider sweet spot (meaning that there is a wider range of sounds that I actually use).

    $107 for a hand wired 808.

    It's a really nice pedal.

Ask if he has any unique colors. I got raspberry. I love it.
