Anyone seen a MIJ tele neck with....

    ....the serial # and "made in japan" on he back of the headstock rather than the usual neck heel near the body? It has a 2018 number, JD18XXXXX. I'm wondering if maybe they do that on certain models or maybe it changed at some point pre 2018 ? Anyone know?

    Ahhh, nevermind. I googled "MIJ telecaster serial number location" and images found several like that so i guess on certain models or sometime b 4 2018 some or all have the serial on the head.
