The band actually nicked that line from Dr John when they finally finished in the studio.

During the recording, the working title of the album was Whip Some Skull on Ya, but somebody liked Dr John's expression (for fellatio) much better.

Ironically enough, about a month ago I started a thread with friends where I would take a snippet of a famous album cover and they had to name the album. I started with a snippet of Boston's first album, with the guitar spaceship, and took a snippet of just the foreground ... and they got it! I'm talking a tiny 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch snippet.

Then they sent a Queen album that I struggled with. Then I sent back Physical Graffiti (one of the doors) ... and they got it.

It's pretty amazing how much pictures will stick in your memory and how people will recall just by looking at a tiny snip of the entire album cover.

I like the album and I also have the Yes 9012LIVE concert DVD but the stage clothes they wore during that show are beyond description. You'd have to see the concert to believe it.

Here's a pic of them from the 90125 tour. Whatever is hanging off of Chris Squire's outfit looks like a stethoscope to me. It made me wonder if he was moonlighting as a doctor and on call that night in case of an emergency.

Another thing I remember from the 9012LIVE video is that Trevor Rabin was using a really impressive looking floor unit. I can't remember anyone else from that era having anything close to that.

Rabin. Wow. It's been a while since I've thought about that guy. I always liked the track "Sludge" from his solo album.
