Me, NO... but a friend of mine used to own this one for a while and I got to play it a bit.

I bought this 1967 Guild F47 in 1974 from the late Jerry Capehart, writer or co-writer of Summertime Blues and Turn Around Look at Me. He had also been Eddie Cochran’s manager.

I didn’t take good care of it in the 1970s and 1980s. It has a dozen cleats inside it holding cracks together, and has had a neck reset. I replaced the worn out Guild open tuners with Shallers. It plays and sounds great.

Jonathan Richman tried to buy my DR, after he used it for a show, back in '85 or so. I told him I would be thrilled to have him using an amp that was once mine, but I was afraid I would spend the cash for food and stuff, then I would be left with no cash and no amp. He said he could appreciate that. Rick Derringer used it once too. I used to rent it out for concerts at UMass, where I worked then, but I can't remember who else used it..

I purchased a 2012 American Deluxe Strat in Austin last summer. Got it home and paperwork in the HSC indicated the prior owner was Christopher Cross.

Kind of reverse scenario, sorta kinda... A couple of months ago I sold a 2x10 cabinet to Nancy Wilson's guitar tech Jeff Ousley. Pretty cool guy.

He came to my house to pick it up and my wife freaked out and got mad at me later when I told her because she's a HUGE Heart fan and wasn't around at the time. I'm kind of glad, TBH. She would have fan-girled all over the guy.

[IMG] I own an amp previously owned by Ringo Starr of a Beatles Tribute Band. Does that count?

I have picks that Angus Young and Rick Nielsen threw into the audience. Picks are important!

SO funny, I read this and didin't think I had or ever had something. But I forgot, I own a butchered up but well playing and sounding Nocaster that was owned by the Meat PUPPETS as told by the sales guy at the store I bought it at.
