...that could possibly make a wiring diagram for me. There is not one on the net.
I made a new body copying my friends '61 Silvertone 1415 and somehow have
the wiring all screwed up. I took it to a tech and he got it so that it made sound,
but its not right. VERY low output, and all switch positions sound the same. Its a
bit of a rat's nest so difficult for me to take pics. I've already researched Dan's
Guitars. He's a little reluctant to help because I'm not electrical savvy (can't blame him)

Which Danelectro Pro model are you talking about? The original didn't have a switch.

That diagram won't work (as I don't know how to adapt it).
Mine was bought new around 2005.
    one vol, one tone
    2 pickups, 3 position switch

First of all, there is no "Pro" schematic, it was the wiring scheme that was used on all the Chinese models.

Second, the non-Chinese ones do not have push-pull pots, but concentric knobs.

Here is the one with concentric knobs:

Here is the one for the original Pro 1 and other one pickup guitars without a tone switch:

Basically what you want is a master tone and volume but two pickups. Use this with a 1M volume pot and 100K tone pot and wire the volume and tone after the pickup selector switch.

The selector switch is tricky, because in the middle position the pickups are in series. I think for the red wire use the neck pickup + connection, for the yellow the neck pickup - and bridge pickup + wired together, and for the green the bridge -. Do not connect to the output jack.

Then take the green and connect it to the pot cover on the one pickup diagram. The red goes to the middle lug on the volume pot of the same diagram.

Then the problem is I don't know which value cap you should use. Try both .047 and .01 and see which one you like best.

    Hi,

Does anyone know about the Dano Pro 2nd Reissue guitars from 2012?
Apparently they are better that the first ones made in China in 2007

    Many thanks
