Anyone notice the Reissue Telecaster Rachel McAdams plays in Eurovision the Story of Fire Saga?

I thought it looked like a Baja 60s (the pale blue one).

Saw it. Thought it beautiful. And it was presumably the one in the tweed case that she carries into the hotel in Edinburgh

Not an AV or an AO. It has a slab board, easily visible on the headstock. If it's an American reissue at all, it's an AVRI or earlier series. I can't keep track of how many colors AVRI '62s came in, but I don't think I remember faded Sonic Blue being one of them. That makes it Mexican or Japanese, and I don't remember any MIJ ones made in faded Sonic Blue. It's not a common color. There was a '60s Baja in that color, though, as mentioned above.

I’d have to watch it to see it....

No Terry Wogan = no Eurovision.

Didn’t the 60’s Baja have steel saddles?

Looks to me like the sonic Blue Baja 60s (I used to own one) or a Custom shop version. Deffo not ‘62, 64 Or AOs.

I watched the movie out of boredom on Sunday.

    It's okay, nothing special.

By the way the basic plot of a small country (Iceland) deliberately putting up a crap act so they are sure to loose comes straight from an episode of the TV show Father Ted.

And none of the parodies are anywhere near as bad / funny as some of the real entrants over the years.

Yes! I wondered if anyone else had noticed!

    I did enjoy it though.

I grew up in street with a Catholic Church a few houses away and the Priest house nearby run by “Mrs Doyle” (replete with permanently worn plastic pinnie and brightly coloured hair curlers and heavy Irish accent) so watching Father Ted was extra hilarious for me.

    Repeat after me,

Bruce got the noose for stealing a goose from a moose off the back of a caboose, but it slipped off because it was too loose
