This is NOT what I'm looking for:

Too busy, I want something more subtle.

If you are up to an artistic adventure—buy a plain pickguard, scratch your design into it with an awl or something like that. Could maybe use a really sharp Lino block cutter too. Then wipe acrylic paint across the surface-it will settle into the grooves and you can wipe it off the surface of the pickguard. A little clear coat afterwards wouldn’t hurt. I haven’t done this to a pickguard but to other plastic items and it has worked well.

WAIT!!!!.....your third example is too busy.....but the first two AREN'T?????????;)
To each his own, obviously, but one of the main things I love about Telecasters is their simplicity.
    Good luck!

O.k., maybe I would want it even a bit simpler than the Japanese examples, just a bit around the outline.

    Nice try, Big Brother.
Indra Guitars could do it, but I think he only works with aluminum (aluminium) guards. He's in Europe too, I believe.
