Anyone like the feel of a 9.5–44 set of strings?

Yes, mostly the 9.5-44 D-addario sets on my Tele and Strat, but for some odd reason I prefer Ernie Ball Slinkies (10s) on my < Esquire. EB 10s on my Gibsons, though my LP Junior feels like I've put 9.5 on it compared to the others: I think there is some variation caused by the top wrapped bridge on my Junior and my SG has the stop tail set quite high above the body too, so that impacts on the feel of the strings.

I didn't realise EB made 9.5 sets, so thanks to @Sparky2 for the picture. :)

I use the GHS 9's and 9.5's and love them both. I prefer the GHS over other brands (obvious personal choice) mostly because the lower strings don't dull as quick.

I tried the as I found 10s too heavy on Gibson scale guitars. But I wasn't impressed. Got used to 10s.

    Yep, 9.5 for Teles.

Actually I use hybrid set, 9.5-11.5-16 for eBG and flatwould D-A-E, usually 28-38-48 or 30-40-50.

I used the 9.5 set many years ago. I used them to slowly get used to building up to 10's. 10 to 48 is what I use on a Tele now.

They hold up very well for me. I have used EB’s, D’Addario’s, etc. in the past and they last as long or longer for me. I think they are great strings. YMMV.

Didn't know that was an option. I buy either .09s or .10s based on what I can get cheapest. I'll have to try a set.
