Anyone know which these Fender branded tubes are (Silverface CHamp)?

    I found them in a 78 SF Champ. I suspect that they are original tubes, as the amp is totally stock and seems barely played.

    The only thing I can discern is the GT on the 6V6 and the preamp tubes.
    Dod Groove Tubes already exist in 1978?

    They look like the original tubes to me. I believe GT, on a tube, refers to the package, the glass tube. Usually, Fender tubes are re-branded from another company. Others here will know better who made them.

    yea, glass tube. they didn't own groove tubes at that time yet. the 188 number could indicate GE.

    Rebranded GE tubes. Very underrated. I always keep an eye out for these "Special Design" by Fender tubes.
