Don't know about that song, but I love that movie.

"Got any of them funny shaped balloons?"
"Not unless you think round's funny."

I think the tune is called "Way Out There." I heard a recording years ago of Pete Seeger singing it complete with yodeling.

The Pete Seeger song your thinkin' of is "Goofing Off Suite". He got the song from an old "Sons of the Pioneers" song called "Way Out There" (with four part yodeling), but Pete just did the yodeling part from the end of the song.

The guy who recorded it for the movie soundtrack was "Banjo Ben" Freed, and he just did the banjo and yodeling part like on Pete Segeer's "Goofing Off Suite".

yep Carter Burwell. lot's of different renditions on itunes though, from the likes of Pete+Arlo, the Sons of the Pioneers, Roy Rogers and more.

It looks like an innard of somethin' or another.:D :D

haha, its a picture i took of my dog yawning. As you can see in the bottom of the pic, he had just finished destroying a book of orwell essay collections and it tuckered him out apparently. He likes to destroy fine lit when hes bored, so we had ot relocate our bookshelves.
