    R.E.,

I see you post that this guy is a troll on pretty much every thread he starts. I never see any trolling, and he seems to create threads on topics that people want to talk about. Perhaps your definition of troll and mine are different.

I wouldn't exactly call him a troll, but he frequently poses vague questions then rarely returns to the original thread to become involved in the discussion or debate.

Oh and Tonemonkey obviously has photos of the Rock because he lives on "The Rock"

The 54 he talks about in the DVD is the one that he keeps it at his home.

But the one he tours with is the 52 RI.
The same one he used on Crossroads last year...

also on the tour "Together and Apart" with Clapton, Les Paul R'n'R DVD performance etc.

I stand by original observation. Jeff IS NOT playing a American Vintage '52 RI.
First just look at it. No AV '52 RI is that yellow. They are much more pumpkin finished. Secondly that neck isn't orange enough to be an AV '52 RI.

Pause the clip of them playing Shake You're Money Maker around the 22 second mark. Look at the back of the headstock. I see a Custom Shop tag. That's either a Nocaster or one of the Custom Shop '52RIs.

There may be better shots of the headstock in that clip but I can't handle more that 22 seconds of that.

Robert Quine (played with Lou Reed, Brian Eno, John Zorn, Matthew Sweet, Tom Waits, Lloyd Cole, They Might Be Giants, Richard Hell and Marianne Faithfull) Owned HUNDREDS of '52AVRIs at the time of his death. I was a salesman at Manny's in NYC in the early 90's and if Robert liked a particular pedal, he'd buy 7 of them for fear that they'd be discontinued... He was a real character and a great guy.
