got it a while ago (today).....

one listen, distracted, at work, and it sounded real nice. some great sounds/textures/effects on this one. (I don't like 'stripped down' Radiohead much at all) I think I'm gonna like this new album alot. Songs 8 and 9 really caught my ear. We'll see how it goes after a few more listens.

Got mine last night - I have listened once all the way through. "FAUST ARP" is a great little piece of music. Almost a Beatles vibe - I look forward to further listens.

Discbox should be here in 2 months...:D

I'm trying to get it off the website, but after waiting forever for the site to load it prompts me for a user and password when I click pre-order or even view basket.

Once I actually got to my shopping cart, it went pretty quickly; the pages were just loading slowly.

I've only heard the first four songs so far (class got in the way), but so far so good. I'm holding off on the discbox for now, though I'm itching for some new vinyl. It's not supposed to be "limited edition", is it?

As far as I'm aware it isn't limited edition.

Looking forward to some reviews. The Bends and OK Computer are among my very fave records, and I like Pablo Honey pretty well. I never really warmed up to Kid A or Amnesiac. I'm interested in hearing about the direction of the band.

I happened to be up late last night, when the authorization email hit my inbox. I went and got the download, no problems.

I've listened to the entire album 3 times so far, and I have to say, it's really nice. Interesting textures and arrangements.

BTW, I knew almost nothing about Radiohead prior to this -- heard maybe 1-2 of their songs -- but I liked the idea of being able to set my own price for music! So I figured they deserved some support, just for their approach.

Those are my fave Radiohead albums too. I'd say the new one is more like Hail To The Thief though, which I also like. There is some nice acoustic playing on it, as well as the more electronic sounding stuff.

I'm looking forward to hearing the new album.

One of the best live concerts on cd that I've heard is Radiohead Live in Boston (1996) - an incredible performance, especially by Thom.

Never liked them from the occasional listen of them I'd had, but since so many people try to convince me they matter, and since the record could legally be had for free, I went for it. The idea to distribute the album as such is both terrific and inspiring...the music, in my opinion, is neither.

I'm actually not familiar with their music at ALL ...but I absolutely love how they're doing this record. I hope this one is a huge success for those guys - the way they're doing it is so dang cool!

Here you go Mandy, this isn't from their new album, but it's a great song (IMO), and one of my favourite music videos.;)

Did I mention they're also pretty much exclusive Telecaster players?:D
