Anyone experimented with making a "reverse" Esquire?

Whoa, forgot about this thread (haha). It's in open E (EBEG#BE from low to high). In the sense that it raises the B string a whole step to C#, yes it is functionally the same as the benders in the Fender Nashville Teles. Those units work with a lever on the strap button, though, while these have a hip lever. They also are just a surface mount unit like a Bigsby so they don't need routing. Go to www.hipshotproducts.com to check them out (not-affiliated, just like their stuff).

I actually just swapped the B-bender from this guitar over to the Affinity Strat w/ P-90s as seen in one of my other Youtube videos and put a Hipshot Trilogy bridge in its place. The thread with pics can be seen here: http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-technical/222710-hipshot-trilogy-bridge.html

SixShooter, the pickguard was made from an unused floor tile from the house I lived in when I was very young so it's more of sentimental thing than an aesthetic upgrade (haha). I might have shortened my life expectancy by cutting it though since it's old linoleum and probably has asbestos in it......

I think that I find my sound down at the bridge, my friend.

Life is sometimes greener on the other side of the plank. :D

Voided, that was great playing and tone.

i toyed with this idea for a while...in general for whatever reason i gravitate towards the neck pup on every guitar i play...i guess its like ordering a cheese pizza from a pizzeria instead of all the toppings but so be it...

its just my preference...it was my understanding that this wasn't a popular stance to have when it comes to esquires but seeing all these guitars on this thread are getting me to think a little bit differently!

and its also giving me MAJOR G.A.S.!

Take a look at my icon. I built that guitar about two years ago.

    Here are the specs:

Lollar CC, one piece pine body, Glendale Jazz plate, and wired directly to the output jack.

I will post a picture when I get home.
