Saw a hand doctor yesterday and he seemed pretty confident that my fingertip pain is a result of one of these. Just curious if anyone else has ever heard of or had experience with that? Apologies for the gore!

No but I watched some of their movies.

Sorry looks like uncomfortable. Had a knot removed from the base of my fretting hand middle finger (palm side). Took a couple weeks to recover. I think it was a cyst but don't remember.

I had something years ago, not sure what it was called, between the second joint and first. Every time I grabbed something I got a jolt of pain. Finally I had them remove it and they left no scar you can see or even thickness you can feel. It's been fine since.

Ugh! I've had something like six ganglion cysts reemoved from fingers on both of my hads, plus "trigger thumb" release on my left hand and carpal tunnel on same a year later. The cysts were really painful. Most liely caused by my working on Jeeps, not playing guitar. They thought the carpal was from typing, but the trigger thumb was from guitar. Take care of your hearing and go easy on your hands.

« In rare cases, the tumors may present in other body areas, such as the gastric antrum or glans penis. Treatment is essentially the same. »

I guess you can call yourself lucky after all.

. Holy cow you have had the works! Did those cysts get taken care of? Maybe that’s what I’ve got.

Yow! Nice image. But at least one could still play guitar!
